PLEASE NOTE — DoT staffing and PDA dates

Albany DoT has lost an assessor to retirement and hasn’t replaced them yet, and it is making managing bookings a bit harder than usual; PDA dates are coming out late, and some already-booked tests are being rescheduled at short notice.

Lessons here are often booked ahead of the PDA dates released by the DoT. To get students to a PDA when a slot appears or moves, I may need to shift other lesson times with reasonable notice -unfortunately... it' out of my control.

I’ll always give as much warning as I can. A bit of flexibility now is what gets you to the test when it’s your turn, please be patient and understanding.

Before you book;

Please read the following carefully:

You must agree to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy prior to booking (links above or below).
Bookings must be in the name of the STUDENT DRIVER, not the person booking. Parent and/or Guardian information is to be added in the booking form.
Bookings cancelled (or rescheduled) within 24 hours of the appointment time are charged at the full rate. Bookings cancelled (or rescheduled) within 48 hours incur 50% of the lesson fee.
Sickness or Unfit to Drive: If you are sick or otherwise unfit to drive, you must contact me prior to the lesson to cancel. Reasonable notice is required. We may, at our discretion, offer a full or partial credit depending on the circumstances. Failure to notify in advance will result in the full lesson fee being charged.
English Language Requirement: All students must be able to understand and respond to instructions in English without the use of translation apps or interpreters. This is essential for safety and effective learning. If we cannot communicate effectively in English, the lesson will be cancelled and the full fee will apply.

I offer a small discount if paying by cash or bank transfer, please contact me prior to making your booking to obtain the booking code 😉

I also offer discounts to serving and ex-members of the Australian Defence Forces and Emergency Services (Police, Fire and Ambulance), please contact me prior to booking.

Pickup and Drop-off

I offer pickup and drop off anywhere within 15 minutes of the Albany CBD. If you're a bit further out than this, please contact me prior to booking.

I can pick you or meet you at home, school, work or anywhere convenient!
